SAVING MONEY
YES SAVING MONEY ON GROCERIES IS A BIG DEAL - If the
average family
spends between $150-$300 a week on groceries and another $50-$100 a week
eating
out, that adds up to a lot of money. A lot of people don't make time in
the morning to make
their breakfast, so they stop at their local fast food restaurant to pick
up a cup of coffee or
maybe something to eat. This is a expensive practice, and over the long
haul not a very
healthy one. To brown bag your breakfast and lunch is money saving and a
lot healthier.
Just think you get to pick out your own food at great prices.
SAVE ON GROCERY BILLS :
5.
Always ask your grocery store if they accept double coupons.
Sometimes
it is a accepted practice, but they don't advertise it. Make sure you
always check the
expiration dates on all your coupons. We don't want the money savings
running out.
6.You can
save hundreds of dollars a year by comparing price-per-ounce or
other unit prices on shelf labels. Stock up on those items with low
per-unit costs.
7. Store brands are another great way to save money on groceries. Most of
the
store brands are manufactured by your major big food companies. So the quality
of store
brands are usually very good. Usually store brands sell from any where
from 10% to
35% cheaper than name brands. This is a top notch money saver.
8. Look out for 2 for 1 deals. That's where you buy one of your favorite
products and they give you 1 free. Yes I said 1 free.
9. It pays to buy in quantities,
items that you use all the time. Have a
place in
your home where you can store these items. Make sure these items are non perishable.
It also helps if the place is cool and dry.
